Rita Simons has admitted her heartache as her deaf daughter has "no idea" what people are saying while wearing a face mask.The 43 year old is mother to 14 year old twin daughters Maiya and Jaimee, the former of which is deaf.

Former EastEnders star Rita has now taken to social media to open up on her pain as Maiya is unable to lip read people who are wearing masks.

Face coverings have become compulsory in shops and modes of public transport in England due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
