EastEnders star returns to soap as horrified Whitney gives birth - 'Don't let her near me'

EastEnders' Whitney went into labour during Thursday's episode - but got a nasty shock when she arrived at the hospital to see a face from her past.

After being locked in a truck with Lauren, Whitney - played by Shona McGarty - soon went into labour and eventually made it to hospital.

However, she wasn't too happy that learn that delivering her baby would be Nurse Lynsey - the midwife who delivered Peach, the baby she was forced to abort and give birth to after she was diagnosed with Edward's Syndrome.

Kathryn Bond returned previously played Nurse Lynsey last year on the soap, and returned for Thursday's episode. In scenes that aired during Thursday's episode, a pregnant Lynsey - who had opened up to Whitney about losing her own child last year - is seen walking into Whitney's hospital room. "You're the one that delivered Peach," a shocked Whitney said. "You're pregnant." Lynsey responded: "A chance I never thought I'd have.Tell me what you're feeling." Whitney said whilst becoming upset: "I just feel like seeing you is going to make it happen again.
