EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley unrecognisably chic in special throwback soap episode

EastEnders actress Lorraine Stanley is famed for playing Karen Taylor in the hit BBC soap. However back in 2004, she made her debut appearance on the show in a special episode that told the story of Laila Morse's character Big Mo's feud with Pat Butcher - played by Pam St Clement.

Some fans of EastEnders will be surprised to find out that Lorraine was cast in the instalment that went back in time. The episode showed a series of flashbacks that saw the two iconic character in their younger days.

In one scene, Lorraine was seen playing the part of a younger Big Mo - who married Pat's brother Jimmy - alongside Emma Cooke taking up the role of a youthful Pat.
