Former EastEnders icon Cheryl Fergison has swapped her acting career for a surprising new career. Cheryl was best known for playing fan favourite Heather Trott on the popular BBC soap from 2007 to 2012, where her character was involved in a number of dramatic storylines.
However, following her departure from the show, acting gigs for the talented 56 year old, who is married to Yassine Al-Jermoni, unfortunately dried up.
And now the former soap star has become a singing teacher and is giving voice lessons, including one-on-one Zoom courses on singing and songwriting, to eager students for £60 an hour.
Cheryl advertises her classes on TikTok, with one post for prospective students reading: "You will have an hour with me where you can choose the subject/s that are of interest. "It is important that these 1-2-1 sessions are tailor made just for you." Cheryl also offers her services in script reading, scriptwriting, screen acting, stage acting, confidence-building and character building.
