There isn’t much actor and comedian Brian Conley hasn’t turned his hand to during a career spanning almost 50 years. From stand-up, panto and landing his own TV show to a stint on Strictly Come Dancing and his eight Royal Variety Performance appearances, the 60 year old has done it all.Then, during a lockdown-imposed hiatus, EastEnders came knocking and Brian joined the BBC One soap’s cast this year as Sonia Fowler’s long-lost father Terry Cant – who viewers have now discovered is a conman.
