But viewers have repeatedly pointed out the police blunder in not searching the house thoroughly enough to realise he was secretly hiding in the house.
However tonight a frustrated Gray finally worked it out. He was determined to find something to inspire him to defend Whitney successfully and ended up wandering her house trying to find a clue.
