Gray has been determined to find something to help defend Whitney (Shona McGarty) over Leo's murder, which was done in self-defence.
And last night he finally found it, as he spotted the hole in the ceiling that Leo had used to secretly watch Whitney from the loft.
However, viewers are baffled at the police blunder that they didn't manage to spot it themselves after thoroughly searching the house.
