BBC soap star James Alexandrou was back on the set of EastEnders 17 years after his exit as he took on a behind-the-scenes role.
The 38 year old, who is best known for playing Martin Fowler on the soap, first appeared on Albert Square in 1996. Fans of the show will remember Martin as the bad boy son of Arthur and Pauline Fowler.
James's character was central to many of the show’s most iconic storylines, such as fathering a child with Sonia Jackson as teens before accidentally killing her fiancé, Jamie Mitchell.
But the TV star stepped down from his role in 2007 to explore other opportunities in his industry, as BBC bosses tied in his exit with his Sonia co-star, Natalie Cassidy.
