EastEnders legend charged with murder as police investigate tragic death

EastEnders, Sonia Fowler has found herself accused of murdering of Debbie Colwell, her fiance Reiss Colwell's comatose wife.

The dramatic scenes, already available on BBC iPlayer and set to broadcast on BBC One on Wednesday (August 21), show both Sonia and Reiss being interrogated by detectives who possess concrete evidence that Debbie was murdered.

Fans previously witnessed Reiss, in what appeared to be an act of desperation due to mounting care home debts, seemingly take Debbie's life at the facility where she was staying post-stroke.

Shortly before this incident, innocent Sonia had visited Debbie, innocently adjusting her pillow, unaware that her actions would later implicate her in a crime she did not commit.
