Kellie Bright has hit back at criticism of her pregnancy announcement at the age of 44. The EastEnders star was appalled by some of the responses to her having a "miracle" baby following IVF treatment, with husband Paul Stocker.
The actress said that "nobody would bat an eyelid" at her age if she was a man. Kellie, who plays Linda Carter in the BBC soap, already had sons Freddy, nine, and Gene, four, and felt she needed to address some of the comments that had been levelled at her since sharing her happy news.
She has now clapped back at the snide comments, telling OK! magazine : "First of all, if I was a man having my third child at 44, no one would bat an eyelid." Kellie continued: "Don't forget my husband is much younger than me.
