Jake Wood has been making good use of his time in coronavirus lockdown by taking up exercise. The EastEnders hunk, 47, took to his Instagram account to post a picture of himself flaunting his rippling abs on Tuesday.

In the snap, Jake flexed his muscles while he posed in nothing but a pair of shorts while stood in his living room. The actor, who plays love rat Max Branning in the BBC soap, then posted a video of himself running through the woods in a grey Yankee hat and matching hoodie.

He revealed that exercise is the only thing getting him through being stuck indoors. Jake captioned the post: "Happy Tuesday everyone.
