The actor posted an emotional goodbye online as he prepared to leave Walford for the final time. His character Max is still going to be seen onscreen over the coming weeks before leaving the soap in February in what's sure to be a dramatic exit.
However, it was Jake's last day on set today and he shared a heartfelt video as he walked away. He wrote: "That’s a wrap. After 15 years on Albert Square it’s finally time to say goodbye to Max Branning today. "I will miss Eastenders and the people here so much.
