ok.co.ukFormer EastEnders star Charlie Brooks has reflected on her years of hard partying as she celebrated her sobriety, four years after ditching the booze.The 43 year old actress posted a smiling mirror selfie to Instagram as she rocked a pair of wide-legged khaki jeans and a t-shirt whilst her natural wavy hair flowed around her shoulders.
Charlie, who is mum to 17 year old daughter Kiki, wrote a lengthy caption, in which she admitted that sobriety 'is not a straightforward road'.
She wrote: "I had some brilliant times when I used to party. Although it always came at a price.. Sometimes I miss that version of my wild..
but my wild still shows up.. just in very different ways. It’s not a straight forward road, but nothing beats waking up sober on a Saturday morning or any other morning for that matter.
