EastEnders viewers were left stunned after recognising the actor playing new character Teddy Mitchell. Roland Manookian, who portrays Teddy, made his debut on the soap this week.Teddy arrived in Walford with his sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman), searching for his father Stevie (Alan Ford).
As fans will remember, Stevie is Billy Mitchell's (Perry Fenwick) estranged dad who showed up in the square earlier this year hoping to reconcile.The elderly man ended up in hospital recently after being hit by his grandson Will (Freddie Phillips).
In Tuesday's iPlayer episode (June 26), Stevie was visited in hospital by his son Teddy and grandsons Harry and Barney. After seeing Will chatting with Stevie, Teddy was determined to uncover the truth.
He went to Walford to dig deeper, while his sons Harry and Barney mixed with the other Walford locals. However, things took a dramatic turn when Billy discovered Will was speaking to a 'random man' at the Queen Vic, reports the Daily Star.
