EastEnders' Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) opened up to his mum Shirley about his care worker called Katy Lewis he had when he was a child.

In the heartbreaking scene, viewers realised Mick does not realise he was groomed by Katy, who had Mick's baby when he was just 12.

Mick told Shirley (Linda Henry) how special Katy was to him, explaining that she thought he was special and she taught him how to walk away from fights.

He did not mention anything about the abuse as he recalled his childhood with Katy. He said most of the care workers saw his as a problem child: "Except Katy, she wasn't like that.
