ok.co.ukEastEnders aired emotional scenes for Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) in the Monday 22 April episode as she excitedly got the results of a pregnancy test.
Sonia and her partner Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) recently embarked on an IVF journey after agreeing that they wanted to have a child together.
In Monday’s episode, which has already been released on BBC iPlayer, Sonia discovered, to her complete surprise, that she’s pregnant.
Sonia raced to The Vic to tell Reiss the good news, but said “it’s too early to tell anyone”. Reiss said he wanted to “tell the world” but Sonia reasoned to enjoy the moment for the two of them before revealing their pregnancy to their friends in Walford.
