East Kilbride Swim Team launch appeal ahead of annual sponsored charity walk

East Kilbride Swim Team are hosting their annual sponsored walk in Chatelherault Country Park this Saturday and are looking for local folk to take part.The walk will see participants put their best foot forward for a range of good causes in East Kilbride as well as the club, with the Kilbryde Hospice being amongst the beneficiaries last year.The club, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, have long since been a vital part of the swimming community, training international stars such as Corrie Scott, and promoting the role of swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle for over half a decade.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
