East Kilbride roads will be targeted as part of the council's rural clean up

South Lanarkshire Council will tackle roads across East Kilbride as part of its ongoing annual clean up.Teams will work on rural roads in East Kilbride from today (April 3), the area will be the last in the most recent programme of rural litter picking.Locals are being warned of potential delays as each road will be reduced to one lane at the sections being worked on between 9am until 3.30pm from Monday to Saturday each week.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
