East Kilbride mum fears for kids' safety after huge shards of glass found on school footpath

An angry mum hit out after "dangerous" shards of glass were left strewn over a path used by schoolchildren. Shocking pictures on social media showed large panels of broken glass lying on the path from the bus stop on Stroud Road leading to Whitehills Terrace in The Murray in East Kilbride.And the resident said broken glass lying on paths is an ongoing problem, with a school janitor eventually stepping in to sweep broken glass to the side of the path near St Louise Primary.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
