East Kilbride boss says business is done for the summer after squad overhaul

East Kilbride boss Kevin Rutkiewicz says he’s finished in the transfer market after an intense summer rebuilding at K-Park.The former Aberdeen and St Johnstone defender reckons bringing in midfielder Danny McManus from St Mirren and goalkeeper Adam McLean from Irvine Meadow completes his squad for the Lowland League season.Rutkiewicz says even if a real star pops up, it’s likely to unbalance his squad, at this point.The Kilby boss last week added ex-Hamilton Accies winger Kyle Munro and defensive midfielder Ben Hughes from Kilmarnock’s under-18s, while young goalkeeper Mateusz Miller was promoted from the development squad.That takes Kilby’s summer captures to 14, following Jonathan Page, Conor Morgan, Andy Black, Billy Mortimer, Stephen Bronsky, Ronan Hughes, Bob McHugh, Jack Ruddy, Gary Miller and Dylan MacDonald.Rutkiewicz said: “We’re just about there.
