Eamonn Holmes has given he first update since undergoing 'risky' surgery last week and couldn't help but mock 'rumours'. The GB News star revealed last week that he was undergoing surgery in the hopes of it relieving his chronic pain.

Eamonn first spoke about his chronic pain battle last year before he later discovered following an MRI scan that his pain began when he "mysteriously" dislocated his pelvis.

He has since been undergoing physio and he has previously admitted that he has "been using a walking stick or crutch every day".

But last Wednesday (September 28), the 62-year-old underwent more serious action to battle his suffering. The day before his planned operation, Eamonn explained what the operation will entail.
