The pair have hosted the Friday slot on the show for 15 years, but the Mirror exclusively revealed they are now being replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
It's their final Friday outing today before they're off air until February and Eamonn couldn't resist making a jab at ITV chiefs.
At the start of today's show, he and Ruth were talking about his glasses being wonky and he revealed he'd seen discounted Christmas trees being sold outside the shop.
