Eamonn Holmes was branded a "relic" after he shared his support for brand new UK channel GB News. The broadcaster, 61, took to Twitter on Sunday to share a passionate post about how current affairs broadcasting needed a "shake up".

He penned: "I hope @GBNEWS gets a decent chance .... we need a shake up on the News front. May it keep all the other News providers on their toes.
