A spokesperson told The Sun that their marriage has come to an end. It said: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.” Earlier, a source had told MailOnline: "It’s a very sorry tale.They are both so loved by the British public, they won over so many people on This Morning which they hosted for more than a decade." Rumours of a potential split have been swirling for a while, but earlier this month, Eamonn took to Instagram to share a snap with his wife Ruth, at the time appearing to dismiss speculation.The GB News presenter had previously sparked concerns about the state of his relationship after telling his followers he had "loads to think about".
However, it seemed Eamonn, 64, was keen to show unity with Ruth, 64. He shared a picture of the pair on his Instagram account, which boasts 796,000 followers.The photo was originally posted by Entertainment Press Photographer Brett Cove, who had featured the former This Morning duo on his story.The caption read: "MEMORIES 10 May 2018.The best in the business... @ruthlangsford @eamonnholmes." It marked the first time in a while that Eamonn has posted a picture with Loose Women host Ruth, which had previously raised eyebrows among their fans.The couple hadn't been seen together for several months, leading to speculation.
