GMP have released an e-fit after a 92-year-old pensioner handed a 'large amount of cash' to a man who was pretending to be a police officer in Salford.

Police say they want to speak to the man shown in the computer-generated photograph in connection with the fraud, which happened at an address in Worlsey earlier this month.

A woman, aged 92, was said to have handed over a considerable quantity of money to the man, as she believed he was a legitimate police officer.

Anyone who recognises the male in the picture is being urged to contact police immediately by calling 0161 856 7769 or by using the 101 service.
