Dylan Vente was thrilled to end his goal drought at the weekend but the Hibs hitman has warned Celtic he is thirsty for more.The Dutchman ended a run of nine games without finding the net in Sunday’s 2-0 victory against Aberdeen.
Keeper David Marshall produced heroics to defy the Dons with a series of saves – including a stunning penalty stop – but there was relief for the frontman at the other end of the pitch.Vente admitted his new role just off the front has limited his chances in front of goal.
But he was delighted to get on the scoresheet and is hoping to kickstart a spree. Hibs have moved up to fifth in the Premiership – just two points off fierce rivals Hearts in third.
But they face a tough trip to Celtic Park on Tuesday night and Vente knows he will need to be lethal when any chances arise.
