On a recent episode of his podcast, "I Am All In With Scott Patterson," the star detailed a scene from Season Three when Lorelai, played by Lauren Graham, and Sookie, played by Melissa McCarthy, commented on the "nice shape" of Patterson’s character Luke Danes' behind. "Objectifying somebody's body part? Yeah, that was disturbing," Patterson said. "It is infuriating because you're being treated like an object.  "And it's disturbing, and it's disgusting, and I had to endure that through that entire scene and many takes … It was the most disturbing time I have ever spent on that set.

“Batgirl” star Ivory Aquino will not allow for the scrapped film’s wings to be clipped. Aquino posted a lengthy letter on Twitter on Thursday, pleading with the Warner Bros.

On its new date, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” will debut a few days after Disney’s “Star Wars” spinoff “Rogue Squadron,” while “Shazam: Fury of the Gods” has free rein over its new opening weekend.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Scott Foley has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO Max series “The Girls on the Bus,” Variety has learned. Foley joins previously announced cast members Melissa Benoist, Christina Elmore, and Natasha Behnam in the show, which was ordered straight-to-series at HBO Max in February after having been set up at both Netflix and The CW. “The Girls on the Bus” is inspired by a chapter in Amy Chozick’s book “Chasing Hillary.” It is described as a comedic character-driven drama that chronicles four female journalists who follow every move of a parade of flawed presidential candidates, while finding friendship, love, and scandal along the way.

Discovery kicked off a wave of cancellations and cost-cutting measures by scrapping DC’s $90 million “Batgirl” movie starring Leslie Grace, which was already in post-production. In a new interview with French outlet Skript, “Batgirl” co-directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah revealed that the studio blocked their access to footage after axing the film. “Adil called and told me, ‘Go ahead. Shoot everything on your mobile,'” Fallah said. “I went on the server … Everything was gone.” El Arbi added: “We were like, ‘Fucking shit!’ All the scenes with Batman in them!”
