Websites have been set up to 'con' drivers out of their money for services which are free on the DVLA website. The DVLA said websites often spring up also offering to help with V5C vehicle registration certificates or renewing a driving licence from the age of 70.
All of these can be done for free on the DVLA website, but that hasn't stopped some websites trying to make money at drivers' expense.
