Lawrence Shankland would prefer to win promotion with Dundee United by romping to a league title as planned than be handed it as a result of the coronavirus league suspension.
With eight games to go, United are 14 points clear of Inverness in the Scottish Championship before all football was locked down in Scotland on March 13.
A suggestion for both United and Inverness to be promoted to the Scottish Premiership has been floated as well as the proposal to finish league seasons with the current standings.
And Shankland told BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound programme: "I think it would be a whole different dynamic if it was to change to a 14-team league. "But I would like to get this league won and get promotion that way.
