Dundee are to raid neighbours United in a bid to solve their ongoing Dens Park pitch problems. The Dark Blues have made a move to land Tannadice groundsman Paul Murray, who is set to make the switch across the road at the end of the season.
United have already advertised for his replacement. Dundee have been much maligned for their pitch problems this season. Four games have bitten the dust because of heavy rain and the Tayside club have had issues for the majority of the campaign.
SPFL chiefs are also investigating the recent call-off of their home game with Rangers less than two hours before kick-off. Philippe Clement was critical of Dens Park as it was the only senior game affected that weekend.
Dundee replaced their long-serving groundsmen Brian Robertson and his son earlier this season with a local contractor filling in.
