A big-hearted Dumfries knitting group is producing comforting items for dying patients to have as a reminder of their family while there is a ban on visitors.The members of Love of Scrubs have been making clothing for the NHS during the pandemic and founder Doreen Johnston told how a two hearts service has now been launched.One is given to the patient and the other goes to the family as a link because no family are allowed to be with a dying victim of the coronavirus.Doreen has appealed for knitters and crocheters to sign up and help, adding: “I saw the two hearts idea on Facebook and as I was already in contact with DGRI, I asked if they would like to offer this to their patients.“They thought it was a wonderful idea and we are hoping to
