Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their return to the U.K. on Thursday (March 5, 2020) for the first time since stepping down as working members of the royal family.
The couple attended the Endeavour Fund Awards in London, two months after announcing plans to step away from public life.
The former royals were met with cheers and applause, although some boos could be heard as they braved the rain for the event at Mansion House, staged to celebrate the achievements of wounded and injured military men and women who have taken part in sporting and adventure challenges.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will give up their Royal Highnesses titles when their royal duties end on March 31st.
