A dog adopted by the Duchess of Cornwall has received plaudits for unveiling a plaque. Beth, one of Camilla’s two rescue Jack Russell terriers, proved the perfect assistant for what is believed to be a royal first as the duchess visited the Battersea Dogs and Cats rescue centre Windsor branch.
The double act jointly unveiled the sign to officially open the new kennels facility named after her. They met staff and the charity’s supporters to thank them for their work.
