Dual Grand National winning jockey Davy Russell is close to a comeback after recovering from a horror fall. The 41-year-old revealed that he expects to be back on a horse in the next couple of days.
And he urged punters not to write off Grand National legend Tiger Roll in his bid to win the big one at Aintree for a third time.
Russell accepts he is unlikely to be fit enough to partner star novice chaser Envoi Allen at Punchestown on Sunday. The jockey fractured his vertebrae in a first fence fall from Doctor Duffy in the Munster National at Limerick in October.
