'Drunk' zoo visitor filmed 'trying to drown bear' after breaking into enclosure

A 'drunk' zoo visitor appeared to try and drown a bear after breaking into its enclosure. The horrifying moment at Warsaw Zoo, Poland, was filmed as many families watched in shock.

In the footage, the man is seen already inside the enclosure as the curious bear approaches him. He jumps into the water to evade a stocky bear and ends up wrestling it when it chases him in.

The bear follows him as he tries to swim away and the animal then jumps into the water after him. The man then appears to grab the bear’s head before dunking it under the water and then holding it in a neck lock.

According to local media, the 23-year-old man was drunk at the time and he was taken to the police station by firefighters who were on the scene shortly
