Drunk holidaymaker jailed after urinating in front of passengers on Glasgow EasyJet flight

A Scots EasyJet passenger has been caged after a Glasgow flight had to divert due to his drunk behaviour.Brian Watt caused the flight to Tenerife to be diverted to Bristol Airport after he became intoxicated, disruptive and abusive on the plane.The 34-year-old from Rothesay was caught smoking in the plane toilets, damaged a soap dispenser and relieved himself in front of other passengers on the flight, reports Bristol Live.He also refused to remain seated and grew increasingly abusive and insulting towards members of the cabin crew.He admitted to being drunk on an aircraft, criminal damage, failing to obey the lawful commands of the pilot, and using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards crew.He was sentenced at North Somerset Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 18 to eight months in jail.Sergeant Rachael Hodges said: "Brian Watt's threatening and criminal behaviour was disgraceful, and forced the flight to Tenerife to be diverted.
