Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the two-car smash on Palatine Road in Didsbury at around 9.30am this morning (Thursday).
One woman had to be rescued from a car, the fire service said. Another person was also treated at the scene but police said they both escaped with minor injuries.
Pictures taken at the scene show a red car flipped over its side. Several emergency service vehicles, including two fire engines, were stationed on Palatine Road near The Christie Day Nursery.
