Driver rushed to hospital after double-decker bus ends up on its side as bad weather causes A90 crash

crash on the A90 which left the vehicle on its side in a ditch .A Stagecoach double-decker running from Peterhead to Aberdeen was involved in the smash at around 6.35am this morning.The incident happened as the bus exited the A90 on to the Newburgh slip road.The bus driver was taken to hospital as a precaution, however, the one passenger on board was not injured.The roads in the area are heavily impacted by snow and ice as Storm Darcy continues to batter Scotland.A Stagecoach North Scotland spokesman told the Daily Record: “One of our services operating from Peterhead to Aberdeen was involved in an incident in poor weather around 6.35am today as the bus exited the A90 on to the Newburgh slip road.”The driver of the bus was taken to hospital.
