A Greater Manchester man has been arrested after their car boot was found full of containers of allegedly stolen diesel, Lancashire police say.
Officers stopped a Mitsubishi 4x4 in Accrington following reports of fuel thefts in Burnley. Containers of stolen diesel were found in the vehicle and a man from Heywood was arrested, police say.
A post from Lancs Road Police showed the man had taken six large containers of the diesel, something they described as 'selfish'.
