Drake donated $100,000 (£80k) to help bail out those protesting following George Floyd’s death. George died in Minneapolis after a white police officer knelt on his neck for over eight minutes, despite him insisting he couldn’t breathe.
His death sparked protests across the US, with many people also taking to the streets around the world. And the Tootsie Slide rapper, 33, threw his support behind those taking part.
He shared a receipt of his donation to National Bail Out on his Instagram story, after being encouraged by Mustafa The Poet.
