Drake Bell is open to a Drake & Josh reboot and knows how he would like to revive it. In a new interview, Bell opened up about reuniting with his former Nickelodeon co-star Josh Peck for a reboot of their sitcom but this time inspired by Curb Your Enthusiasm. “I have a really special place in my heart for Drake & Josh and I would love to revisit the character,” Bell said on the Beyond the Velvet Rope podcast. “I’d love to revisit something with Josh, whether it’s a reboot or… my dream is to do something kind of like Curb Your Enthusiasm, where we’re playing ourselves but trying to navigate life today.” Bell has seemingly thought deeply about how the show could bring the characters back together and added, “Maybe I’m trying to get him back together with me, and he’s like, ‘Dude, you’re annoying, get away.’ I don’t know what it is, but I would love to do some kind of Entourage or Curb Your Enthusiasm-type thing with Josh one day.” The actor also noted that he thinks it would “be really cool” to work with his former Drake & Josh co-stars, such as Jerry Trainor’s Crazy Steve, Yvette Nicole Brown’s Helen, Alec Medlock’s Craig, Scott Halberstadt Eric, Nancy Sullivan’s Audrey, Jonathan Goldstein’s Walter, and Miranda Cosgrove’s Megan.

Drake & Josh ran for four seasons on Nickelodeon. The teen sitcom centered on teenage stepbrothers Drake (Bell) and Josh (Peck) living together despite their opposite personalities.

Amid its successful run, the series also had two films, Drake & Josh Go Hollywood in 2006 and Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh in 2008.
