Ciara Kelly has revealed how she punched a man who put his hand up her skirt so hard he was knocked over a car bonnet. The Newstalk presenter was holidaying in Spain as a college student when she was assaulted ‘out of nowhere’.

She described the disturbing incident as the most serious incident she had ever encountered of being harassed by a man on the street. ‘I was walking home with a friend along a road where there weren’t many people around when a guy came out of nowhere and put his hand right up my skirt,’ she told EVOKE. ‘I was so shocked I hit him really hard, so hard in fact I knocked him over a car bonnet. ‘He ran off holding his head as I screamed blue murder at him’.
