Love Island's Dr Alex George opened up about his acne being irritated by his facemask. The key worker has been battling the coronavirus on the NHS frontline.

Wearing a mask has caused his acne to get worse in the weeks he has been wearing PPE in the workplace. Taking to his Instagram on Sunday, Alex detailed the struggles he has been facing with his "maskne" - a term to describe facemask acne.

In a candid post, the former Love Island star talked about how much the skin condition has "affected his confidence" over the years.

The reality star revealed he was "nervous" but he gave his fans an insight into his struggles. He wrote: "Masks and face coverings have definitely worsened my acne, which in the bigger picture might not seem like
