Donny van de Beek could leave Manchester United on loan before Monday's transfer deadline. Van de Beek, 24, is attracting interest after starting just four times this season and is confident of receiving permission to leave from interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

Van de Beek's partner is the daughter of Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp, who remains close to his former Arsenal teammate and Palace manager Patrick Vieira.

United's switch to a 4-3-3 formation and the expected return of Paul Pogba from a thigh injury next week could further restrict Van de Beek's playing prospects if he stays beyond January.
