James Christian Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

His ratings are terrible,” the politician scoffed. “I hear he hits me all the time, so I figured I’d hit him because I thought he was a lousy host.”During Hollywood’s biggest night, the comedian graced the stage and read a Truth Social post from Trump that was about the evening.

Trump’s post read: “Has there ever been a worse host than Jimmy Kimmel at the Oscars?” The funnyman continued on to recite the words: “His opening was that of a less-than-average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be.”The message scored over 3,000 ReTruths and over 16,600 likes on the platform.Kimmel joked at LA’s Dolby Theater: “Thank you, President Trump.

Thank you for watching. I’m surprised you’re still up. Isn’t it past your jail time?” Oscars producers discouraged Kimmel from showcasing Trump’s social media review at the event, however, he continued on regardless.
