Don't Worry Darling is one of the most hotly anticipated film releases of the year. Last week, it was premiered at the Venice Film festival, although reviews were distinctly mixed.
The film has a star-studded cast including Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde and Chris Pine. It centres on Alice and Jack, a seemingly perfect couple played by Pugh and Styles whose life in an LA town begins to fall apart.
Filming began in September 2020, with a several pauses in production because of Covid-19 outbreaks. Now, however, there are just days to go until the release date. They gave an interview last month to Rolling Stone, which only heightened the speculation. Alice and Jack Chambers are a young, happy couple in the 1950s, living in a seemingly perfect town in California, which has been created and paid for by the company for which Jack works.
