A domestic abuse brute moaned that he is being treated unfairly over a video showing him throttling his terrified victim. Christopher Forrest was caught on camera attacking his partner repeatedly at their Blantyre home.

It shows Forrest hurling abuse and launching unprovoked assaults on his partner.Forrest, 40, of Lochaline, Ayr, was due to be sentenced at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.But his solicitor raised concerns over references to the video in a criminal justice social work report.
