Dolly Parton wants to recreate her Playboy cover for her 75th birthday: ‘It’ll be such a hoot’

Dolly Parton has no regrets about her Playboy cover and, in fact, wants to recreate the iconic shoot for her 75th birthday next year.  The Jolene singer famously posed on the cover of Playboy magazine back in 1978 dressed as a Playboy bunny in a black leotard and bunny ears when she was aged 32.

Now fast forward 42 years, Dolly remembers the cover shoot fondly and hopes to recreate the image for her 75th birthday which falls on 19 January 2021.

Speaking to Australia’s 60 Minutes on Sunday (8 March), the country star revealed: ‘I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again!

I thought it would be such a hoot. If they’ll go for it. I don’t know if they will.’  She added of the costume: ‘I could probably use it.
