Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years,” Dolly shared with The Associated Press. “Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.” Dolly‘s publicist also told the outlet that Carl will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with immediate family in attendance.
If you didn’t know, Dolly and Carl met outside of the Wishy Washy Laundromat the day she moved to Nashville at 18.
