Doja Cat lost a good chunk of followers on Instagram after what went down. If you don’t know, the 27-year-old performer insulted some of her fans who had named themselves “kittenz.” Keep reading to find out more… “My fans don’t name themselves s–t,” she allegedly wrote in a since-deleted tweet “If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or f–king ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.” Meta confirmed to Billboard that she lost 237,758 followers on Instagram after she sent out the tweet.

That number is current as of the time of Billboard’s posting, but could change minute-to-minute. She currently has 25.7 million followers. Doja Cat has yet to respond to the controversy.
